All About the Classics {coach’s old styles & kate spade originals}

I am all about classic purses at the moment. With the increasing prices of ritzy designer bags, I am over even thinking about $2,000 bags. Kate Spade & Coach provide fantastic alternatives. All bags are under $500 and are dope. The backpack above is my favorite Kate Spade pick. The nylon is versatile and durable. But I personally prefer the Coach Classics. They are suuuuuper sick. The bucket bag in navy leather is too good. Check out their website and order them up.

Miss Lily’s and Back to School Basics {best caribbean grub & i needed a new backpack so you do too}

Finnnnally made it to Miss Lily’s this afternoon for Brunch. Could not be more excited that this place is literally down my block, it’s so authentic and so good. Their jerk chicken was right on. In other words, time to go back to school! While my start date is earlier than most in the city, I start classes again on Tuesday. I definitely need a backpack this semester to “commute” uptown. Here are a few options. Most are not durable for school but cute just the same. From the top left: Rag & Bone, Fjallraven, Christopher Shannon x Eastpak, Alexander Wang, The Row & Incase. All make for different purposes.

Invasion of the Alexander Wang Backpacks: Meet Sydney & Marti

How I love these Alexander Wang backpacks. So cool and street. The Marti backpack (the one to the right and left) is fabricated in convertible leather with snap-tab closures at the flap. They have a zippered leather panel at detachable backpack straps, as well as a detachable shoulder strap. The Sydney backpack (in the middle) is a Wang classic. It has a leather flap front and a double buckle closure and an adjustable shoulder strap as well. It has two exterior pockets. Both backpacks are in the $800.00 range, and sold on Barneyscoop.com and Shopbop.com. I want one.
