Was pretty much a no brainer when I stumbled upon the restaurant Miss Kale that I absolutely needed to try. While kale is now much easier to find than before in Paris, I must admit there are so few restaurants that actually use kale in their recipes- but I can assure you that you will not have this problem at Miss Kale.
For starters, the staff is incredibly friendly and the ambiance is very welcoming. While it is a cantine, aka great for an area like the Sentier where most people are in between meetings or just taking their pause-dej, it maintains a calm vibe. Alors, what did I decide to eat? It was really hard to decide, as their menu has a variety of options, almost all including my favorite ingredient – kale. I went with their falafel bowl. Composed of falafel balls, quinoa, red and white radishes, a cabbage salad a delicious tahini dressing. Yo, I was more than satisfied. Not to mention my detox juice (a mixture of apple, cucumber, fennel, ginger and lemon) was just magical. Only down point – I must say the desserts did not excite me. Then again, I do not have a very big sweet tooth.
Pay them a visit for a delicious, guilt free, kale filled lunch, homemade juices and smiles. I’ll be back. Miss Kale – 104 Rue Réaumur, 75002 Paris (@misskaleparis)
