Goodbye APC {the fantastic atmosphere, my past & my future}

It is crazy that I have been in Paris for nearly a month. While my internship at APC is ending, I will never forget all that I have learned from this very special brand.

The atmosphere at the APC design studio is unlike anything I have ever seen. While things are accomplished in a timely and uniform fashion, the studio maintains a calm and collected aura. It is almost difficult to describe what a wonderful place it is to work.

Set just between Saint Placide and Saint Sulpice, the studio is nestled on the quiet Rue Madame. Just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Saint Germain. I must say it is quite a different neighborhood than the crazy Meat Packing district. But I love both just the same.

Diane von Furstenberg is undeniably a fantastic individual. It has been so wonderful to work with her over the past few years, and I look forward to my future with her and her team. But, Jean Touitou does call for some competition. His hands on approach to APC has lent me many conversations with him. I felt apart of his brand throughout my time at APC.

I am so lucky to have these two powerhouse brands in my life. While I will return to Diane von Furstenberg in July, I am working for Cynthia Steffe in June. Stay tuned to my jam packed summer people.
