Links à la mode: Slow Living With A Neutral Palate {restoring balance in our mind, body & soul through a return to the basics}

There is certainly something in the air pertaining to a neutralization in life. While the “organic” kool aide is heavily prevalent in States, this basic and simplistic lifestyle translates in to all parts of livelihood.

While a neutral wardrobe is and will always be classic and timeless, it is more widespread than ever for the upcoming warm season. It creates for a refreshing look. Combining an indifferent wardrobe with fantastic accessories adds for a chic edge. Chanel brings this look to the runway season after season, and thus proves this style as a time piece.

The concept of neutrality, as a life style, came up in conversation over brunch with new and old friends here in Paris. “Slow Movement” is in fact an almost unattainable habit in our fast paced culture. There is an entire movement attributed to “Mindful Living.” I find this concept extremely interesting. Essentially it means to slow down our lives and connect. I, a very fast paced individual, realize I too must take a moment daily to reassess my living and pay attention to the present moment.
