Proenza Schouler: From Start to Finish

Thanks to my girl Brettie, we have some behind the scenes shots from the Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear show! The makeup and hair were both extremely modest. Simple straight hair with a middle part, and barely there makeup. This was refreshing after an abundance of harsh and glaring, which have epitomized this runway season. All in all the Proenza Schouler collection was not my favorite. Textiles and tribes were the true visions of the collection. But unfortunately, these patterns and knits were what I disliked the most. I did particularly enjoy the gowns and dresses at the end of the collection. They were perfect red-carpet options. Eh. You can’t win them all. But I will say Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are pretty cute. Hit me up boys (;

  1. super sad about this collection. i love jack and lazaro, but not the proportions or fabric choices. so much shiny velvet that didn’t fit with the play on tribal for me, n’aime pas.
